Waiting on the San Francisco Giants

I keep checking baseball news to see if the San Francisco Giants are in the process of acquiring a new outfielder. There are still some good possibilities out there. Yoenis Cespedes, Carlos Gonzalez, Alex Gordon and Justin Upton are available and waiting for their big pay days.

These players can change a games outcome with one swing of the bat. The Giants need more depth in the outfield. Injuries took a toll last year and Angel Pagan is 35 years old and back injuries last year limited his play. The same for Hunter Pence who suffered his own injuries and missed quite a few games.

Will the Giants steam ahead and pay the big dollars knowing the risks and the rewards of such deals, or will they go with players in their farm system? This Giants fan thinks at least one more big bat and quality outfielder is needed to keep pace with the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers. With regular sellout crowds and the excitement and superstition of it being an even year, this is the time to Go For It!

What do you think?
