If you are already missing baseball on December 1, 2016 take heart. Winter MLB meetings and possible trades discussions are just around the corner. Everyone knows the SF Giants are in the market for a closer. This link takes you to the SF Giants site where that discussion is underway. Click Here.
The Giants have some very good pitching talent in Hunter Strickland, Josh Osich, Steven Okert and Derek Law. It's possible one of these solid pitchers will be traded for a closer which the Giants are determined to obtain. The Giants have talent in the outfield, but that does not mean they won't be looking at center fielders. Let the speculation begin! LOL
When are the MLB meetings? Where will they take place? What stations will be covering? The Sporting News answers these question on their terrific web site. Click Here.
And my favorite site outside of MLB makes it's predictions on moves that may happen during the winter meetings. Bleacher Report MLB winter meetings predictions. Click Here.
I am already planning a baseball trip. My daughter will be one of 25,000 running in the Boston marathon on April 17, 2017. A Sunday game before the big race warms my heart on December 1, 2016.
Thank you for all the visits!
