The San Francisco Giants bullpen had a bad day and could not shut down the Atlanta Braves late in the game Wednesday evening. Give Atlanta credit they scored late when they needed to and Giants relief just came up short. It happens. That's baseball. No point in pointing fingers.
The Giants are up 6-0 in the fifth inning in the afternoon showdown at Turner filed. They are in first place so Giants fans like myself need to keep our perspective when an occasional blown save happens. Again, that's baseball. Lots of ups and downs during the season.
Like home runs? Madison Bumgarner, Joe Panik and Buster Posey have all homered and we are still in the sixth inning. Bumgarner hit the first one giving himself a 2-0 lead. Let's close this one out.
Go Giants!!!
