San Francisco Giants have Two Prospects Ready to Go!

Giants have Two Top Prospects Ready for their Turn-The link on the left will take you to a video and story on two top prospects for the San Francisco Giants. Tyler Beede and Christian Arroyo. Tyler will bring additional pitching to the rotation. Christian will fill a very important need for a steady third baseman. Both players are young and in the San Francisco Giants minor league system. They have enjoyed success with Double-A Richmond. Giants fans should expect to see these talented players in San Francisco soon.

It's hard to say when these players will get their big break and a chance to play in San Francisco.  Beede is gaining consistency with his pitches and Arroyo is obtaining additional experience and patience at the plate. I suspect they would be starters already on most MLB teams. With patience these two young players are sure to see many days at AT&T park in the future and I hope they can enjoy their time in the minors. When they move up to San Francisco they will be part of the next run for a World Series ring.

I hope both Beede and Arroyo know Giants fans are aware of their potential and look forward to seeing them in the future.

Go Arroyo! Go Beede! Go Giants!!!

Ten Weeks Until MLB 2017!

After the Super Bowl on Feb 5, 2017 we will be so close to spring training and getting closer to MLB season 2017. After the political season and election, I am so grateful that baseball season is on the way.

I considered writing about politics during the off-season. I could not do it. I'm not good at labeling people in any way. You know the whole conservative versus liberal mud slinging. I'm pretty balanced about it all, but nobody seems to want view points where mud is not involved. That led to a silent blog. I studied international economics, but I have lost my enthusiasm from the lack of civility by both parties and their supporters in this last election.

Baseball is not without sadness. Sadly, the MLB community lost two players in car accidents over the weekend. Yordano Ventura and Andy Marte were killed in two separate car accidents. Both accidents reportedly took place in the Dominican Republic. My heart goes out to the families, friends and fans of these players. It sadly reminded me of Oscar Taveras a rookie with the St. Louis Cardinals who was killed in 2014 in a tragic car accident. I was fortunate enough to see Taveras in his St. Louis. His second at bat was a home run. My heart goes out to all families who have lost children way too soon.

In San Francisco Giants news Joan Gregorio is getting himself ready for an eventual start in the big leagues. You can read what Gregorio is doing to prepare himself for that day by clicking HERE.

Go MLB! Go SF Giants!!!
